Punk is a culture all of its own.  It optimizes the anger, rebellion, non-conformity of a group of teens and young adults that knew that the mainstream way of thinking just didn’t work for them.  Punk rock defined the punk fashion and gave punk the momentum it needed to grow into the worldwide phenomenon that we know today. 
For women in punk their fashion is unique and really sets them apart.  Punk is an attitude and a vial attitude at that.  It is this non-conformity that draws the women to love the punk look.  Ripped t-shirts and t-shirts with their favorite rock band or t-shirts with the neck cut out so they fall off one shoulder is widely accepted as punk fashion for women. A leather jacket, lace or plaid miniskirts with fish net stockings and plat form leather boots that lace up to the knee, complete the look.
The hair is colored any color of the rainbow or all the colors of the rainbow at the same time.  It can be a Mohawk, or asymmetrical.  She can wear one side shaved and the other spiked.  Bleached blond hair with black tips or dyed black hair with white tips it’s all acceptable.  Feathers or beads can be pinned in.  Anything that will be a sense of shock is what the hair style is trying to achieve.
Body piercings paying particular attention to the face with a bar or hoop through the eyebrows, nose stud or nose ring, and the lips can have a row of metal hoops, studs or spikes.  Her tongue usually has a bar through it.  Nipple shields and bars can be simple or elaborate.  Belly button rings are common as well. 
The makeup is thick black eyeliner.  Spiked wrist cuffs, earrings of skulls and crossbones, scorpions, bats or spiders are found on most punk women.  They can dress the look up or down it just depends on what look she is going for.  One thing is for sure, punk fashion for women is here to stay.
