Custom punk clothing

Custom punk clothing gives you something a little bit different than the normal punk look.  If there is a particular look you are going for having someone custom make it for you is ideal.  You can also custom make it yourself too!
If you want a particular punk rock band on your t-shirt, but they don’t make the band t-shirts you can buy anymore, you can go to a print screen shop and have them print you a t-shirt.  You may have to bring your own picture in so check with the shop before you go in to see if they have one you could use or if you need to bring one in. 
If you want a particular saying on your shirt or you want a shirt that is completely different from anyone else’s around you can cut the saying out of a magazine, newspaper or write it down on a piece of paper and take that to the print screen shop and have them put it on your shirt.  You can also have them put it on your jacket too if you’d like. Permanent marker works great for this too and you can be as creative as you want.
You can also cut out a logo or saying from an old t-shirt and safety pin or sew it onto another t-shirt or jacket yourself and make your own custom punk clothes.
Say you want zippers crisscrossed down the length of your jeans.  They don’t sell them anywhere you can find.  So, what you do is buy the zippers and sew them yourself or look up a local seamstress and take them into him or her and be very specific as to what you want and have them sew them on for you.  It may be helpful for you to draw a picture of what you expect them to look like when they are finished.  Don’t worry about trying to be an artist, just sketch out some pants and draw lines where you’d like the zippers to be.  It’s pretty simple, but the most important part is to make sure they know what you are looking for so you are happy with the results.
